GDPR CERTIFICATION

Ensure that your company’s, your organisation’s or your association’s management and processing of personal data is in accordance with GDPR – the new data protection regulation.

Does your business have a customer register or a payroll or personnel register, or are there other contexts in which you manage and process personal data, in other words information about names, personal ID numbers, email addresses, images or other data that can be related to a particular natural person? Then you need to be aware that the EU has decided to introduce a new regulation (GDPR) that contains more stringent requirements on the processing of personal data.

For a monthly subscription fee of €9.90 and a start-up fee of €399 you receive help with the entire GDPR process:

  • Inventory
  • Partial documentation
  • Action plan
  • After completion of the action plan, complete documentation
  • Procedure descriptions
  • Policy documents and consent appendices
  • Implementation guide and training package to enable you to train and educate your business’ Board and management team

WHAT DOES GDPR CERTIFICATION ENTAIL?

When you are certified by Vitaprivaata, your business receives a certificate which shows that you have undertaken the certification process or, alternatively, that you have updated your certification with a knowledge test, which can vary from year to year.

The following has been done:

  • Training and education of the Board and management team has been completed
  • Inventory of the organisation’s personal data has been carried out
  • Documentation has been prepared regarding how the organisation manages and processes its personal data, where the data comes from and to whom it is disclosed
  • Procedures have been set for the archiving/erasure of data
  • Security procedures have been created for the management and processing of personal data
  • Certificates from system providers and operating suppliers have been obtained
  • The procedure descriptions that are required for the business operations have been written
  • The policy documents that are required for the business have been formulated
  • The consent documents that are required for the business have been prepared
  • The GDPR certification has been implemented in the organisation
On completion of the process your business will be certified for GDPR. Thereafter the information is stored on My Pages, your GDPR account, as long as you have a valid subscription, for only €9.90 per month (three months’ notice of cancellation is required).

THE PROCESS

Your GDPR process starts when you create an account on My Pages. As soon as you have created the account, you can begin the inventory stage via a form in which you enter the business’ details and data. Once you have completed the inventory stage, an action plan is created which highlights what you need to remedy and add.

The action plan contains, among other things, templates for procedure descriptions and policy and consent documents, and it illustrates how you can manage and process your personal data in a correct and GDPR-compliant manner.

Once you have gone through the various items in the action plan and have gathered together the necessary documents, you receive a checklist against which the measures taken can be checked off.

Once this has been done you are ready to implement the new procedures in your daily operations, which you do with the help of a practical implementation guide.

For a start-up fee of €399 you receive help with the entire process.

All information is thereafter stored on My Pages, your GDPR account, as long as you have a valid subscription, for only €9.90 per month (three months’ notice of cancellation is required). In this way you can easily update your documents.
